Trident Online to be launched soon

In the light of recent announcements about a re-allocation of elements of the funding for work experience, questions have arisen about Trident’s continued support for schools in Portsmouth and Southampton, Hampshire. Trident from Edexcel will continue to be an active player in the work experience arena across Portsmouth and Southampton where we have offered a placement service to schools for over 35 years.

John Kelly, Head of Trident from Edexcel, said:

“We are currently in our busiest time of the year organising the placement of some 7,000 students between now and the end of term from our regional centre in Camberley.

“Since trident joined Edexcel at the end of 2006 we have invested heavily in developments which will add value to the services we offer to schools, and in the autumn term we will launch Trident Online. This new web-based application will transform the way employers, schools, students and parents engage with work experience.

“Feedback from the pilot in Essex over the last year has been very positive and in the autumn we will make the application available to all Trident schools.”
