The Community Involvement Certificate

The Community Involvement Certificate is a record of a community involvement activity which a student has undertaken.

This  downloadable version  of the certificate is available for use by Schools who have engaged Trident from Edexcel to support their student placements.

It is recommended that the certificate is only issued where the student has:

  • contributed a minimum of 15 hours of their own time for the benefit of others in their local, national or international community
  • received no payment for the activity
  • planned the activity
  • recorded the activity
  • produced a personal action plan
  • reviewed their progress and assessed the outcomes for them personally
  • developed a portfolio of evidence which details the skills, competencies and personal qualities that have been learned or improved as a consequence of their involvement in the activity
Conditions of use
  • These certificates must be printed in colour on 180gsm White Bond paper
  • The certificate must be printed not photocopied
  • Schools are asked to report to Trident from Edexcel on a quarterly basis, on the number of certificates issued
Issuing Certificates (a step by step guide)
  1. Click on the link to the Certificate
  2. Open / Save the Certificate (You will need to type the login / password we sent to you school/college. If you do not have it yet, please contact us.)
  3. Fill in the boxes marked with a tick
  4. Print the document
  5. Once printed, check that everything is correct and place your signature in the space provided.
Note: Please notice that in the box "On behalf of the school / college", the space provided to type the name is located at the very bottom of that box.
