Trident Online

Trident Online provides students, parents, carers, tutors and employers with a single point of enquiry as they plan, prepare and undertake work experience – keeping students safe, well informed and supported. Everyone involved in the work experience process has the opportunity to track their collective investment in our future workforce. This service has been piloted in Essex and will be rolled out nationally, with full availability by September 2008.

Health and Safety ExecutiveProvides comprehensive health and safety guidelines and clearly defined responsibilities of all partners (Employers, Education establishments, work experience organisers, placement providers, parents/carers and students) involved with young people at work or on work experience.
Business Action on SkillsOffers support to employers in developing and implementing Government-supported workplace training programmes.
Federation of Education Business Links ConsortiaIllustrates the promotion of providing coherence in the planning and provision of education business link activities between schools/colleges and local employers.
Learning and Skills CouncilOutlines planning and funding support available for high quality education and training in England.
Train to GainOffers schools and colleges a range of resources to support work related learning and enterprise and a number of support services from consultancy to in-service training.
